Are you looking for your first role in the games industry? Well UnifiQ have added quite a few remote Kickstart roles in a wide range of disciplines all ready for your application!

UnifiQ is a London based start up working to make their mark in the indie games scene. Their latest title Operation Outsmart is an openworld RPG where you can build your own mobile battle build. You have to battle the villains and keep the koalas safe.

Just as a reminder, to qualify for the Kickstart Scheme you need to be:

- 16 to 24 years old

- On Universal Credit

- Out of School

QA Tester

As a QA tester, your role will involve playtesting games ensuring an enjoyable gaming experience. It will also include locating any behaviours, software errors, feature malfunctioning, etc. The successful applicant will be working closely with the game designers and programmers.

Game Artist

As a Game Artist, you will need to be able to design and create art assets for an RPG game which are relevant to the game's theme and mechanics. An understanding of the game's mechanics is quite essential and although the role is remote, successful applicants may be asked to visit the London office at least once a month.

Programmer (Unreal)

This role requires you to work closely with game designers and other programmers to plan, design, and develop systems and codes through Unreal Engine Blueprints. Applicants must be proficient in Unreal engine. Even though the role is mainly remote, you may be expected to visit the London office at least once a month.

VFX Artist (Unreal)

The VFX artist will create visual effect assets using Unreal Engine 4 while working closely with game designers, artists and programmers. This will include a number fo different effects including but not limited to water, explosion, environment shaders, and lighting.

Community Manager

UnifiQ is looking for a Community Manager to join their team to help build a dedicated community around their debut title Operation Outsmart. Applicants will be expecteed to know how to use Twitter, Instagram, and Discord effectively.
