Graphic Artist
A Graphic Artist creates visual elements for a game, including logos, icons, menus, and other 2D assets that enhance the player’s experience.
As a Graphic Artist, you’ll work closely with the UI/UX designers and the marketing team to design clean and visually appealing graphics. Whether you’re creating game interfaces, promotional art, or branding materials, your job is to make sure the visuals are cohesive and align with the game’s style.
Many Graphic Artists have degrees in graphic design, digital media, or fine arts, but what’s most important is a strong portfolio that demonstrates your design skills and creativity. You’ll need to be proficient in tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design software.
For this role, you should have a keen eye for detail, a passion for visual design, and an ability to work within a team. You’ll be responsible for creating assets that are both functional and visually appealing.
Because competition is high, your portfolio should showcase a range of designs, from game menus and icons to marketing materials, demonstrating your versatility and creativity.
