Slow Game Club 2026 Fundraiser Launches

Into Games is announcing the return of its game subscription service, Slow Game Club for 2026. Thank Goodness You’re Here will be the launch title in January, with 11 monthly titles to follow.

Slow Game Club is a book club for games: 12 months of highly curated, and critically acclaimed independent titles straight to your inbox, along with live Q&A podcasts with the developers behind them and an exclusive Discord community for in-depth discussions and reviews.

All of the money raised goes directly to UK registered charity Into Games to help fund the life-changing work they do for young people and marginalised groups in some of the UK’s poorest areas.

At least 75% of the titles will be 2025 and 2026 releases and have a clear narrative focus and strong critical reception, whilst exploring multiple different genres, themes, and interesting development stories from across the globe.

Brandon Cole, Chief Development Officer at Into Games said: "Slow Game Club is not just a fundraiser for Into Games, it's a labour of love that came from a feeling that bundles, sales, and Netflix-style subscriptions were reducing the value of a game to nothing more than a price point. The whole team at Into Games believe in the work we're doing to make working in games possible for the most let-down in our society, so that they can build a meaningful career in their dream industry - but also because we believe in games as art, as culture, and as a means for talented people across the UK to have their story heard in a beautiful and unique way.”

There are a limited number of membership spaces per year, but people can join at any time. For the best deal, sign up before the end of December 2025. Once the £39.99 annual subscriptions have sold out, people can sign up for £8.99 per month.
