Into Games is coming to Games Transformed 2026

Into Games is excited to announce that we’ll be joining the fourth edition of Games Transformed, taking place in East London from 30 October to 1 November 2026. As an charity dedicated to improving social mobility within the games industry, we’re delighted to be bringing the creativity, talent, and perspectives of our IG50 cohort to a festival that champions the power of games to inspire change.
The IG50 programme is an annual award that recognises 50 of the most talented yet-to-be-hired people in the UK games industry from working-class and low-income backgrounds. The programme exists to spotlight emerging talent and help break down the barriers that prevent so many aspiring developers, artists, designers, and creators from accessing careers in games.
This month, our IG50 winners from multiple years were invited to take part in a special game jam to collaborate and create something entirely new. Throughout October, this year’s participants have been working in two teams to develop two original games inspired by the theme of power and wealth inequality. And now, we’re pleased to share the results of this hard work at this weekend’s Games Transformed Festival.

Cold Notice is a 2D narrative-driven game about family, eviction, and corruption. When Ashe discovers a link between her father’s accident and billionaire Victor Winslow’s property empire, she must decide whether to expose the truth or accept a deal that could secure her family’s future.
"I loved working with the team and writing about how much of an impact life can have on carers and how a person's routines can be changed in a single moment." Lauren Smith, Narrative Designer & Producer of ”Cold Notice”.

Have you ever been so nervous in an interview that you fumble your words? Or struggle to negotiate a pay rise with your employer? Fear not, now's your chance to practice!
Enter the kingdom of this wealth-hoarding dragon and give him the pitch of a lifetime; Choose your words carefully (via QTEs), and convince him that a more equal kingdom is good for business. By putting yourself forward as the dragon's wealth advisor you're securing yours and your fellow subjects' future.
“The Jam was a really fun experience. Teaming up with fellow IG50 winners gave us all something in common, and there was a sort of confidence you got from them being previous award-winners that you don’t always get teaming up with strangers online for other jams (as fun and interesting as that can be!). I was able to team up with long-term collaborators and new ones, and it was a fun challenge being given a social issue to translate into a game, especially an issue IG50 participants have a perspective on. I’m proud of what we pulled together in a short time, and our team managed a fun, tongue-in-cheek look at the theme, while also intentionally challenging ourselves to work on new things. Can’t ask for more than that from a game jam.” - George Walker, Audio and Music for “Tip the Scales”.
Showcasing this project at Games Transformed feels like a perfect fit. Games Transformed brings organisers into games, and game makers and players closer to organising. Through festivals, events, and partnerships, it explores how games can challenge power, build solidarity, imagine revolutionary futures, and contribute to collective liberation. By celebrating games as an art form and connecting play with political education and movement-building, the festival creates a space where new ideas, perspectives, and possibilities can emerge.
Both Into Games and Games Transformed share a belief in the power of games to create meaningful social change. Whether that means improving access to opportunities within the games industry or using games themselves to explore and challenge systemic inequalities, we believe interactive experiences can help people better understand the world around them and inspire action. We’re excited to join this growing movement and contribute our own call for greater social mobility, representation, and inclusion both within games and beyond.
If you’d like to experience the IG50 Game Jam project for yourself, you can attend Games Transformed across the weekend in London. Cold Notice will be available to play on Saturday at Games Transformed, and Tip the Scales is available on both Saturday and Sunday to check out. Tickets and event information can be found here. But if you’re not able to join us in person, please do take a look at both games’ Itch page’s and try the games out for yourself
Thank you to the team behind Games Transformed for letting us join their event, and a bigger thank you for their support in providing a travel bursary to support our IG50 winners.
We want to create more exciting opportunities for our IG50 winners, for example through our Boost programme which offers winner a fully paid placement at a games studio. We have some incredible talent and companies lined up, but we need your help to take the next step. Every £2,500 we can raise promises another Boost placement - anything you can donate would be monumental to our cause. Donate today: tiltify.com/intogames/boost-2026
