No recommendation engines, no endless libraries, no algorithm deciding what you should play next. Just twelve games, hand-picked by people who genuinely love the medium, with the time and attention to help you experience each one properly.

Consider this your friendly reminder that Slow Game Club exists. And if you're only just hearing about it, welcome to the club.

The indie game discovery club from Into Games is back for 2027, following a sold-out 2026 membership that showcased some of the best the medium has to offer.

Last year, we brought members twelve games with a combined average Metacritic score of 84, including breakout hits Thank Goodness You're Here!, Sorry We're Closed, Promise Mascot Agency, despelote, Wanderstop and The Drifter.

The 2027 collection will bring together twelve more independent games under a new theme: Stories Only Games Could Tell. It's a celebration of the extraordinary worlds, characters and experiences that make independent games worth discovering in the first place.

Already announced for 2027 is Esoteric Ebb - The bizarre, narrative-rich fantasy CRPG full of personality, from Christoffer Bodegård and Raw Fury.

There's also more to the club than the games themselves, with exclusive live podcasts with the developers of every title, a passionate community of indie game fans to discuss the games with, and a physical Merch Box full of Slow Game Club gaming goods.

"I got sick of seeing a wall of games that a line of code told me I should play; I wanted real recommendations by real people. Most of the game store gurus are gone now, so consider Slow Game Club your resident indie expert. We do the crate-digging, the exploring, the deep dives. We respect your time, and then let you experience a game as it was intended. Slowly." Brandon Cole, Creator of Slow Game Club and Co-Founder of Into Games

Did we mention Slow Game Club is owned by Into Games? That means 100% of proceeds go to charity, helping those from low-income backgrounds develop their own video games. Play games, help kids make them.

The 2027 collection is available to order now at only £49/€59/$59. Find out more at https://www.slowgame.club/
