We’ve had a truly fantastic summer with MSI, and we wanted to take a moment to celebrate their incredible support in championing social mobility within the games industry. Their generosity and commitment have lifted our work in ways that deserve real recognition.

Develop Brighton is always one of the busiest networking events of the year, and this time MSI helped us take things to deliver the Social Mobility in Gaming Conference; a space where aspiring talent, industry leaders, and passionate creators could connect and learn about the actions we can take to improve social mobility in the games industry. MSI donated some brilliant blind boxes for our legendary goodie bags, and they set up a relaxed gaming corner featuring a selection of their handheld consoles for attendees to play on throughout the day. Huge shoutout to our MSI superstars Luke Sear and Isabella Langton, whose hard work and enthusiasm kept everything running smoothly.

Their kindness hasn’t stopped at events. When disaster struck one of our technical bootcamp students, MSI stepped in without hesitation. Halfway through the programme, Poppy’s trusty computer gave up the ghost right when she needed it most. MSI swooped in to send her a brand‑new laptop (plus some bonus goodies!), ensuring she could not only continue the programme but actually get more out of it. Faster renders and smoother graphics was a game-changer for her, and a perfect example of MSI’s commitment to supporting emerging talent.

We also had the joy of working with Jagex this year on their 25th RuneScape festivities! As part of the celebrations, we ran the RuneScape Future Talent Jam, giving students and recent graduates the chance to flex their game-making skills.
