Ubisoft UK supporting a fairer UK games sector

We’re pleased to formally announce that Ubisoft is one of our main partners for 2026! Whilst we’ve been working together for a little while, we wanted to take the chance now to talk about what this partnership will mean, and how much this will help us at Into Games bring more support to under resourced groups.

For those in the gaming world, Ubisoft need no introduction as one of the biggest games companies in the world, with with brands like Assassin's Creed, Rainbow 6 Siege and The Division under their belt.

Ubisoft's commitment to broadening horizons through existing programmes like internships, mentorship and academic partnerships highlight the company's commitment to supporting new, diverse talent.

Working with Ubisoft's UK operations in this partnership will further progress towards this ambition.

We’ve already kickstarted this partnership with one of our biggest annual projects - the IG50. For context, the IG50 is an annual award programme recognizing 50 of the most talented, yet-to-be-hired people in UK games from working-class and low-income backgrounds. With Ubisoft’s sponsorship we are able to continue the project this year and provide even more job-ready career seekers the support they need to get their first job in the industry.

Throughout the next year, our teams will collaborate on supercharging the work to level the playing field and make games a viable career option for talented, enthusiastic, and resilient young people across the UK.

Michael Burnham, Studio Manager at Ubisoft Reflections, discusses the partnership:

"People are the force that drive creativity and innovation in the UK games industry, and the opportunity to work with Into Games to broaden paths into our sector means we can boost creative diversity and access a huge range of different skills, experiences and perspectives long into the future.

A massive thank you to Ubisoft for supporting our work to help those from low socio-economic backgrounds pursue their dream career in games.
