Core Games Student GameDev Hackathon 2020

Are you a student interested in developing your own games? Look no further. In partnership with UC Berkeley's UpSync, Core is proud to host the Student GameDev Hackathon. There’s a glorious $10,000 prize pool, exclusively for students, with multiple winners and categories to enter. If you're currently enrolled in an educational institution, then this is the game-making contest for you.

Whether it's your first time building a game or you're a seasoned game-jam veteran, we're inviting you to participate in our month-long gamedev hackathon to build games in Core. You'll take a deep dive into the world of videogames using the new, powerful, and easy-to-use game creation tool and platform. Core empowers creators of all skill levels to unleash their imagination and make 3D games with high quality graphics and gameplay.

Learn from game industry veterans in our Student GameDev Hackathon workshops and speaker series. With no game dev experience necessary, you can make your own games today, especially when it's so easy to get started with frameworks like RPG, Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag. Make the game of your dreams, and show off your skills in this awesome student contest.
