Get Into Games is coming to Dundee on Saturday 26th September 2026, and you’re invited.

This is our totally free careers festival, designed in mind for 12-21 years old's in Dundee and surrounding areas. On the day, local studios, educators, and young people will come together for a full day of inspiration, hands‑on learning, and real talk about what it takes to build a creative career in games!

Tickets are available now, and spaces are still available for game studios, educational institutions and volunteers to take part during the day.

Head to the events page and register today!

These local events play a crucial role in our mission by expanding access to learning, motivating young people, and showcasing the support available to those from working‑class backgrounds who want to level up their skills. Get into Games successfully launched earlier this year in cities such as Brighton, and more events are planned, with Barnsley set to host in October 2026 - more on that here!

What will you get by attending? By the end of the day, you will:

  • Have a good plan for next steps into the sector
  • Understand what 'good' looks like for a range of different roles
  • Meet game developers face-to-face and play in-development titles
  • Have the chance to sign up for further training, open days and development courses based on their interests and needs

“Get into Games is an event that travels all over the country bringing together educators, bringing together young people, bringing together studios and all talking about careers and skills development within the games industry. It's all about community coming together to understand what game skills are, what games careers are and how they can get ahead in the games industry and how those skills can be used in lots of other industries as well.” - Declan Cassidy, CEO Into Games

Entrance to the event is 100% free, and those who sign up in advance will get priority access to 1-2-1 sessions and follow-up guidance. Sign up now!

We’d like to thank our incredible sponsors for helping us make this happen - SAE Institute, Ubisoft Reflections, Creative Scotland, Ninja Kiwi, and Outplay.
