Unreal
Unreal Engine is a professional games engine that can also be used by students and hobbyists to create 2D, 3D, mobile, web, VR, and AR games—exporting to many different platforms including consoles.
Unreal has many features so is quite complex and can be intimidating for beginners, but there are many tutorials and a lot of documentation to help you learn how to use it. Unreal also features the built-in Blueprints Visual Scripting, which allows you to make games without coding.
The Unreal Marketplace contains many plugins and art/audio assets (some free, some paid) to help you get the most out of Unreal.
Some recent well-known games made with Unreal include Fortnite, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and Sea of Thieves.
