Interactive Careers Workshop with Surrey Choices and the Games Innovation Zone

We were thrilled to recently partner with Surrey Choices and the Games Innovation Zone at the University of Surrey to deliver an interactive careers workshop designed specifically for neurodiverse adults.
Sessions like this are a key part of ensuring that routes into the industry are clear and accessible for all, no matter your background.
This session was led by Andy Brammall, Senior Program Manager for Games at Unity Technologies - the session introduced 11 participants to the exciting opportunities within the games industry. The workshop successfully inspired some future game developers through hands-on activities, engaging discussions, and a chance to test out high-end gaming setups.
Heather Collyer, Senior Employment Support Specialist at Surrey Choices, shared her thoughts on the impact of the session:
“Andy delivered an engaging and fun interactive careers workshop. The workshop sparked creative discussions, and their passion for gaming shone through. They also enjoyed playing on the gaming PCs and were impressed with the visual and audio setup. The team thanks Dr. Ping and Into Games for delivering an interesting workshop that exposed them to the gaming industry.”
We’re so proud to support initiatives like this, helping more people discover pathways into the games industry. A huge thank you to Surrey Choices, Dr.Ping, and Andy Brammall for making this possible.
