Into Games is now a charity

Into Games is now a charity – the first in the world focused solely on working-class and low-income talent
We’ve got big news.
Into Games is now officially a registered charity. That makes us the first and only charitable organisation in the world solely focused on helping working-class and low-income people break into the video games industry.
The UK games industry has a class problem, and we’re here to do something about it.
Over the last few years, we’ve built programmes that inspire, guide, and support talented people who don’t have connections, finances, or are just unsure how to get in. From grassroots schools outreach to paid internships, we’ve reached tens of thousands.
Now, with charity status, we can go further.
We can unlock new funding, form deeper partnerships, and double down on what works. It gives us the independence, transparency, and credibility to scale our impact and make sure the industry of the future looks a lot more like the country it’s part of.
We’ve got a long road ahead. But becoming a charity gives us the structure and stability to dream bigger. To be bolder. To build a better pathway into the industry, not just for a few, but for many.
We’re just getting started.
Get in touch if you want to help us shape the future of socioeconomic diversity in games.
