Into Games is delighted to announce a partnership with leading events company Roucan, creator of the exciting WASD Careers, taking place on the 17th-18th November at indoor exhibition centre Farnborough International.

A significant part of the partnership will be the team at Into Games curating relevant, educational content for career seekers from our network of studio partners and connections, preparing future game developers for employment.

From our booth on the show floor, we'll also help those interested in working in the industry with personal meetings.

Declan Cassidy, CEO at Into Games, commented,

“WASD Careers is exactly the kind of event we need to break down the barriers that people may face when exploring job options in the games sector. We’re looking forward to providing world class speakers and giving the opportunity for attendees to meet sector professional in person and help get them started on their journey into work!”

WASD Careers, in its first year, is expected to welcome thousands of students seeking a future in video games and those who are curious about working the world's largest immersive and entertainment business. WASD Careers will show young people more than just writing code, with talks and presentations from all disciplines in the gaming sector.

Matt Styles, Event Director of WASD Careers said,

“Working with Into Games guarantees the right direction for speaker content. We’re really pleased to be collaborating and offering the right guidance to those considering a career path in the games industry”.

The two day event will focus on driving diversity in the sector, which will emphasise heavily on under-represented groups in games, including those from under-privileged backgrounds, local education authorities and the M3 Enterprise Group.

Tickets are now available for purchase here, and those organising a trip for a school, college or university can get in touch for discounted tickets.
